ADD-ON WORKSHOPS & RESIDENCIES
THE POWER OF SONG
Pre- or post-performance activity. Participants learn about music's important role in shaping American history and write their own song to a familiar tune using historical techniques.

When held as a pre-performance activity, the group's song becomes the performance finale, with the entire audience singing along!

Audrey works with a group or class of students for the week leading up to a school performance.
​

These students engage in in-depth discussion of the program content and learn the song choruses they will perform for their peers from on stage.

Students have the option to present narrative content within the program, practicing public speaking and poise.
