ABOUT THE SHOW

Seasoned teaching-artist Audrey Johnson combines historical songs and images, with onstage costume transformations and LOTS of audience participation to bring the American Colonial & Revolutionary Period to life.

Beginning in the mid-1750s, the program follows the journey of North American colonists from loyal British subjects to American patriots, using historical music to highlight key elements which lead to the creation and ratification of the US Consitution.

Along the way, students learn the stories of historical figures as well as the true meaning of heroism–which lives in each on of us.
