ADD-ON WORKSHOPS & RESIDENCIES

HISTORICAL SONGWRITING WORKSHOP
Pre- or post-performance activity. Participants learn about music's important role in shaping American history and write their own song to a familiar tune using historical techniques.
When held as a pre-performance activity, the group's song becomes the performance finale, with the entire audience singing along!

ARTIST-IN-RESIDENCE
This multi-day program expands on the historical songwriting workshop. Participants in this program also learn historical music and are featured performers throughout the performance.
The participants' group song is the finale of the performance.
