Contemporary American composers are the living legacy of our nation's musical heritage.

Of Thee I Sing is dedicated to the musical legacy of our nation, and the support of living American composers is a cornerstone of the company mission. 


We fulfill this mission by incorporating arrangements and new songs by living American composers into concert programs, commissioning new compositional works, and presenting two seasons of the online program, 
The Living Legacy Series.

The Living Legacy Series is an exciting new interview series that features these living composers and their settings of text by American writers and poets, which celebrates our nation's treasury of literature as well.
